  1. \u00a050mm f1.8<\/strong> (or 35mm) \u00a0prime- This focal length<\/a>\u00a0is great for street photography<\/a>, indoor, casual and all-around use. \u00a0It is absolutely the best value prime lens<\/a> you can buy that does not sacrifice quality. Buy:<\/strong> Canon<\/a>\/Nikon<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. 24-70mm f2.8 (or 24-105mm f4) – If I were to take a single lens with me for \u00a0a day of shooing (or traveling to India<\/a>) it would be this lens. \u00a0The range is perfect for some snapshots, landscape , architecture, portraits and whatever else you want to shoot!   3. 70-200mm f2.8 – The absolute best lens ever! \u00a0Ever! \u00a0The quality is unmatched. \u00a0This is a workhorse and weights as much as one, but every serious photographer has this lens. Buy:<\/strong> \u00a0Canon<\/a>\/Nikon<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. 85mm f1.8 – Portraits and head shots<\/a> are a huge part of photography and the 85mm is the best focal length for portraits. \u00a0The shallow depth of field<\/a> is absolutely stunning and the bokeh is beautiful! Buy:<\/strong> \u00a0Canon<\/a>\/Nikon<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. 100mm macro – If you want to explore the macro life this is the lens you need. \u00a0if you don’t, don’t call yourself a photographer! \u00a0It’s all about the detail and this lens will allow you to see the world as it was meant to be seen.
