Since receiving his first camera, a Kodak 110, around the age of 12, he has attended the New York Institute of Photography to further tune his skills. He has traveled to Japan, Korea, Virgin Islands, New Zealand, Bahamas, India, Guam, Puerto Rico, Belize, St. Maarten, Canada, Mexico, and lives in the United States. He has covered numerous political and social protests and Barack Obama\u2019s 2008 presidential campaign.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: AppleGothic, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Additionally, David\u2019s extensive portfolio includes work in model\/fashion, fitness, and travel photography as well as family portraits. His work has been published by Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and Schmap Travel Guides.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: AppleGothic, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Mirroring David\u2019s passion for photography is his love of music: while editing, he enjoys listening to the eclectic sounds of jazz, hip-hop, pop, R&amp;B, indie, alternative\/rock, dub, soul, and oldies.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Inspired by the abundant natural beauty of the world we live in, David Martin became a self-taught photographer most passionate about landscapes and nature.
