Apple launched its ‘Start Something New<\/a>” campaign earlier this week in Japan<\/a>, and today has expanded the campaign to several countries across the globe, from the Unites States to Asia to Europe.<\/p>\n

How it works? \u00a0Use your Apple device to create. \u00a0That’s it. \u00a0Pretty simple. \u00a0The ‘Start something new’ website includes a gallery<\/a> that features art made with Apple products like the iPhone 6 Plus, iPad, iMac etc. \u00a0A range of photography, painting, and sketching apps like\u00a0Procreate<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0VSCO Cam<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0iDraw<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0Waterlogue<\/a><\/em>, and\u00a0Brushes 3<\/a><\/em>\u00a0are also featured on the site.<\/p>\n

Apple also highlights individual artist stories, sharing the tools that each person uses to create their works of art. Japanese artist Nomoco, for example, uses an iPad Air 2 and the\u00a0Brushes 3<\/em>\u00a0app to make paintings.<\/p>\n

I used an iPhone 6 and an app called Tiny Planet (available in the App Store<\/a>) to create the image above. \u00a0It was taken at my son’s First Tee<\/a> golf tournament.<\/p>\n

Artists, like Marcelo Gomes and Jingyao Guo use various photography and sketching apps to make stylized photos and drawings. Several photographers like Jared Chambers and Christian Weber use popular photo editing app\u00a0VSCO Cam<\/em>\u00a0to edit photos, and Apple apps like\u00a0iMovie<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Final Cut Pro<\/a><\/em>\u00a0are used by videographers Matt Pyke and Thayer Allyson Gowdy.<\/p>\n

Every piece in Apple’s\u00a0gallery<\/a> was created on an Apple product. Every brushstroke, every pixel, and every frame of film was brought to life by talented Apple users from around the world. As\u00a0you explore their work, we hope it inspires you to create something\u00a0new.<\/h4>\n
